About Wilton

“I believe that true health is a dynamic balance between our mental, physical, and emotional selves.”

By combining the healing modalities of acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine and massage, Wilton develops a plan that will address the patient’s needs at the source of the problem and analyzes the patient’s mental, physical and emotional well being. This will ensure that the treatments are truly effective and will improve the patient’s quality of life.

Born and raised in New York City, Wilton had an interest in all things sports and martial arts from a young age, leading to a desire to study acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

His knowledge of sports from the inside out led Wilton to specialize in orthopedic and sports medicine, and sports therapy-specific acupuncture, addressing musculoskeletal problems like neck, back, knee, and shoulder pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. In addition, he’s successfully treated patients for other physical, neurological, and emotional symptoms such as depression, anxiety, digestive issues, insomnia, and stress.

When he’s not in the office, Wilton can be found teaching martial art of Kali, as he’s been doing for the past 10 years.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a holistic and traditional form of therapy that helps with a variety of conditions such as pain management, anxiety, depression, digestive support, infertility, and much more. Patients are guided through a thorough consultation to pinpoint the problem and treat from its source, increasing the chances of success of the treatment.

This ancient practice has been shown to be an effective method of improving nerve conduction and blood flow to muscles and joints, which aids in reducing pain and restoring normal function. Acupuncture is also a proven treatment for reducing stress, pain, and muscle tension. Today’s medical community is turning more and more to acupuncture treatment for their own patients.
